Ornamental Aquarium Engineering Research Centre in Universities of Fujian Province was approved to establish by the educational department of Fujian province since Jan. 2019. It locates in Aoyuan Road 18, jimei district, Xiamen, Fujian Province. It is currently a primary research institution in Fujian carrying out research on marine ornamental technology. The research scopes are outlined as follows:

Scope 1: Breed conservation and propagation of ornamental species, which focus on ornamental marine breeds conservation, cultivar improvement and breeding of new varieties.

Scope 2: Functional and health care product, which could perform R&D of formula feed full of nutrients and healthy as well as green and environmental friendly. In addition, health care products with function of color enhancement and anti-disease as well as fecundity improvement also could be focused.

Scope 3: Ornament trade quarantine and disease control, which research on the technic related to trade quarantine and disease control of ornamental species.

Scope 4: Intelligent aquarium equipment R&D, which focus the intelligent culture equipment as well as demonstration system development for industry and aquarium.

Scope 5: Aquarium innovation and entrepreneurship incubation, which combinates all the aspects of aquarium industry to achieve collaborative innovation of technic, products, and service.
